[SPORT NEWS]Transfer news: Liverpool want defender, Delph's City exit, Rhodes too rich for Villa

Inter Milan are putting bargain defenders on the market with Man City, Liverpool and Stoke all interested.

First up is left-back Senna Miangue, 19, who could be snapped up £2million.

Next is fellow left-back Davide Santon, 26, who is valued at £7m. Andrea Ranocchia, 28, is also on offer.

Manchester City could allow Fabian Delph to go out on loan this month.

The England midfielder, 27, made his comeback in Friday night’s 5-0 win at West Ham after recovering from a groin operation.

Championship clubs Newcastle and Aston Villa, both eyeing midfielders, are two of the clubs interested.

Delph cost £8million from Villa two years ago and is on £90k-a-week at City, who would probably have to subsidise part of his wages if he made a temporary move.
Jordan Rhodes' £50k-a-week wages are holding up his move to Aston Villa.
Middlesbrough are looking to get £12million for the Scotland striker, 26, making the deal too expensive for Villa.
Steve Bruce had hoped Rhodes would be part of the deal which took Rudy Gestede to Boro for £6m.
Talks are still going on between the two clubs with Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday also being linked with the former Blackburn Rovers hitman. If a permanent transfer cannot be agreed in this month’s transfer window then Villa hope they will be able to sign him on
Crystal Palace’s interest in Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep has doubled his price.
Wolfsburg believed they had lined up a £5million deal for the 25-year-old Cameroon-born French international.
They saw him as replacement for Julian Draxler, who joined Paris St Germain on a a four year deal at the start of the month.
Rennes had expected the deal to go though but Palace’s interested has now made them think again about his price.
Palace manager Sam Allardyce wants to bring in some fresh faces in attack and has identified Ntep as a player who could half their relegation slide.
He also needs cover for Bakary Sako, subject of Birmgham interest, who has joined Mali’s African Cup of Nations squad.
Ntep’s contract expires at the end of the season, and Rennes would like to cash-in now on the player.
