APC chieftain welcomes Buhari back, calls for prayers


A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Maiyanga Usman has welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari back to the country from his medical vacation in the United Kingdom. Mr Usman, who is also the Coordinator of Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO), also prayed for the quick recovery of President Buhari and wished him long life and prosperity. The APC chieftain, in a statement by Director, BCO, Mr Mahmoud Atta, called on Nigerians to remain positive and always pray for their leaders as well as peace and unity of Nigeria. The statement reads: “We are grateful to God for what he has done in our party and Nigeria as whole. “We hereby felicitate and welcome President Muhammadu Buhari from his medical vacation in London, wishing him long life and prosperity in years to come. “We pray for your quick recovery Mr President and we will continue to pray for you till you get better. “We call on Nigerians to remain positive and always pray for leadership of the country to always succeed. The success of a leader is the success of the whole nation. “We pledge our unalloyed loyalty to the APC and urged the party to always go for the best while taking critical decisions.” Usman also pledged his support for the party. He, however, urged Nigerians to continue to pray for President Buhari’s quick recovery, and for wisdom for the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in handling the affairs of the country. “We also call on Nigerians to continue to pray for President Buhari quick recovery, and for wisdom for the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in handling the affairs of the country,” the statement added.
